Classes
The 2008 - 2009 Class Exhibition and Tours schedule is now online! The schedule
features a comprehensive list of upcoming exhibitions for the rest of the 2008
and the beginning of the 2009 programming year, including tours and classes for
the kids.

Education Kits
The EAGM has a series of education kits that include
artefacts and unit plans that may be borrowed. Currently, the following kits
are available:
- Pioneer Kit
- Coal Mining Kit
- NWMP Kit
- Andrew King Kit Wood Block Printing Kit
There are many more kits currently under development,
including plans to complete an art history kit and an art techniques kit.

School & Senior Tours
Over
3300 students participate in school tours each year. School tours feature
critical discussion of the artwork and a hands-on art activity, which
allows the students to apply what was discussed and learned to an artwork
of their own.
Each month the EAGM develops a Teacher’s
Guide which explains the current exhibits and the planned student art
activity. As well, there are additional activities to build upon the
ideas expressed by the art exhibitions and during the tours, with emphasis
on cross-curriculum.
As well, the EAGM has a variety of resources, including
education kits, books and a variety of lesson plans that may be borrowed
from the Resource Centre.
