Artist Receptions
The EAGM hosts receptions for exhibiting artists whenever possible. Events such as these allow visitors to meet artists and learn more about their work. The artists give a brief talk about their art practice and answer questions from the crowd. The gallery usually provides refreshments following the talk. Artist Receptions last about 2 hours, but it is not necessary to stay the whole time. There is no dress code and everyone is invited to attend. Children are also welcome to come with their families to these receptions.

New "Project Wall" Gallery Initiated
You may notice the new space as you enter the foyer of our building.  Over the course of 2010 we will be featuring a small selection of work from four artist across Canada.  These works are meant to give a glimpse into some of the diverse art being created by emerging artists that transcend common notions of the potential of artistic engagement. We're currently exhibiting the work of Ireland artist Clare Samuel, and her exhibition consisting of a sampling of two c-prints from her Paracosms Series.  For more information click here.

Call for Proposals
