Artist Receptions
The EAGM hosts receptions for exhibiting artists whenever possible.
Events such as these allow visitors to meet artists and learn more about
their work. The artists give a brief talk about their art practice and
answer questions from the crowd. The gallery usually provides refreshments
following the talk. Artist Receptions last about 2 hours, but it is
not necessary to stay the whole time. There is no dress code and everyone
is invited to attend. Children are also welcome to come with their families
to these receptions.
New Gallery Educator
The EAGM is proud to announce our new Gallery Educator Karly
Millions. She will be taking over for Lindsay Davis who
is going on a one-year maternity leave starting on December 1st.
Karly will be a wonderful addition to the gallery and museum with her
extensive knowledge in Canadian History.
