Artist Receptions
The EAGM hosts receptions for exhibiting artists whenever possible.
Events such as these allow visitors to meet artists and learn more about
their work. The artists give a brief talk about their art practice and
answer questions from the crowd. The gallery usually provides refreshments
following the talk. Artist Receptions last about 2 hours, but it is
not necessary to stay the whole time. There is no dress code and everyone
is invited to attend. Children are also welcome to come with their families
to these receptions.
Our next Reception is June 12th
(7:00p) featuring the work of Iris Hauser and her exhibition
titled
Only Human, taking place in Gallery I,
and Carri J. McKinnon's Illuminating Spaces exhibition of mixed
media photographs in Gallery II.
We will also be having a Artist Talk / Slideshow in the
afternoon of June 12th at 3:00pm in the gallery's
Education Room. Please call to reserve a spot.
